Over the years, World AIDS Day has become a global phenomenon that has prompted massive media coverage, raised awareness, encouraged people to get involved and amplified the voices of those living with HIV/AIDS.
The Auraria Library is hosting the Tri-Institutional World AIDS Day student art show, now in its 5th year. Prizes are awarded for Best In Show, 1st, 2nd, and Popular Vote:

Computer privacy screens are now available for your use in the Library and may be requested at the Tech Help desk. 
The Center for Colorado & the West at Auraria Library has recently produced three short videos on aspects of Colorado Hispanic history, including Denver's Displaced Aurarian community. In addition, a 500 image photography collection offers unique insights into the varied historical experiences of Hispanics throughout Colorado. . The first video is titled Salvaje y Libre (Wild and Free).
