he's basically saying, no, the library doesn't have textbooks because they couldn't keep up with the 13,000 courses offered every year on Auraria campus. But, you can easily skateboard to the Bookstore, which is only a couple blocks away.
The entire mall is a pedestrian-only zone from the Library to the Tivoli. Please don't encourage policy violations--the police could have given the skateboarder a citation.
Your comment is very timely, as the Library's Online Interfaces Committee met just yesterday to discuss this very topic! We are just beginning to dive in to creating videos and expanding offerings of other learning tools like tutorials, and one of our top concerns is how we will provide captions and/or transcripts in order to comply with paragraph 1194.22b of Section 508. The library has also recently convened a Accessibility Committee, chaired by Judith Valdez, to address accessibility issues generally in both the physical and online library. Should you have any other comments or concerns, please feel free to direct them to Judith, and in the meantime, we'll get a transcript of this video posted!
