Auraria Library Gift Donation Guidelines

Thank you for considering the Auraria campus library for your book or media donation.

Your generosity will benefit the students of three distinct institutions that share the Library’s resources, services, and spaces: the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the Community College of Denver.

Owing to limited space and personnel the Library accepts non-duplicative resources that support the curricular and research goals of campus constituents. Donations that do not meet the Gift Acceptance Guidelines will be discarded.

Titles that meet Gift Acceptance Guidelines will be gladly reviewed and accepted with the understanding that no restrictions shall be placed on their use or disposition.

Saleable titles not accepted will be forwarded to a book resale company with proceeds going to the Library. Donors are not notified regarding acceptance or non-acceptance decisions. Donors receive receipts noting the number of titles donated. (Sorry, the Library does not supply a valuation of the donation.)
